What Is The Treatment For Tonsillitis?

Hey, so at the back of my throat one of my tonsils i guess you could call it swollen. but it's just kinda of sitting there, its really irritating and feels like something is stuck in the back of my throat. It doesn't hurt or anything it's just really annoying.
