What Is The Treatment For White Spots On The Thumps?

Last night I noticed some very fine white spots on my thumbs, not bumbs. This morning, they were black and had spread over my hands. It looks like a pen leaked on my hands but they do not wash off or rub off. It almost like under my skin. Any idea what it could be?
