My father is concerned. His dr called him after he had a blood test to get his xanax and trazodone precsriptions filled. She told him he needed to start vit b12 shots right away, that in one test, his level (of what, she didn t say) was 39 and the highest value of normal was 38. Can you shed any light on this? He s rather distraught because his wife just died 7 days ago, and isn t having any symptoms of b12 deficiency. His dr did say he could postpone tx for a while. He doesn t want to deal with this if he doesn t have to because he is very upset by the death of his wife (my mother).
