What Leads To Abnormal PAP Test Results Despite Of Absence Of HPV?

I have abnormal on my pap last year, and I just did one again for follow up the test came back it show the same last year, and my Dr told me my HPV is gone, but I stiill have abnormal as the same in 2013' is not change anything. If u don't have HPV anymore but why my pap is still having problems, the abnormal are there going away?
