What Leads To Excess Hunger And Eating In Children?

my ten year old is always hungry. She eats more than me. I've been contributing her appetite to the fact that she is a dancer, but I'm not really sure, because she eats like this when she isn't dancing. I considered that she may just like the way the food taste and uses "I'm hungry" to get more. I'm sure I'm giving her correct serving sizes, but to no avail.
