What Led To A Painless Swelling In My Armpit?

i am female age 34 i have swelling in right armpit it is not painful but had it for about 5 month now and seems to be getting bigger i am waiting for referal to breast clinic i think but scared it could be cancer no lump in breast but what does it sound like to you please
