What Might Cause Continued Left Sided Twitching In A 14

What might cause continued left sided twitching in a 14 year old (my great niece) after what doctors think was a transient ischemic attack yesterday? Her speech and cognition has improved. Her EEG is evidently within normal limits so probably no seizure activity. Two years ago in November, she had a pancreas transplant where her islet cells were transplanted into her liver. She is currently in a hospital. She has had some autoimmune issues. Also, she was taken off blood thinners (previous clotting issues. about a year ago to help with digestive issues. Recently, some of her joints have been aching. She attends a gifted public school and wants to be a doctor.
