What Precautions Should Be Taken After Vaginal Hysterectomy?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I am having a vaginal hysterectomy on June 15th (leaving ovaries if it matters) and while I am on Sh. Term Disabilty I want to take my kids on vacation. We are thinking of driving 6 hours to the beach 4-5 weeks after the surgery. Is there a reason to be concerned? Ocean water? Sand? Sitting in car for hours? (there will be 3 other adults to take care of my 3 kids so lifting children and luggage is not an issue)
