What Should I Take To Restore Lost Voice During A Kidney Transplant?

During Kidney transplant surgery last month my voice has been chocked, and i have to make efforts even to whisper. It is now 1 month, since surgery but voice is not back to normal, though there is improvement.
Can you suggest me what i should do. I do gargling with salt water but no use.
