What Symptoms Lead To Mild Strokes?

I am a female age 60 (as of this Friday) with a family history of strokes. My Father, Mother Brother and oldest Sister.My 2 adult children are concerned because I seem to have forgotten some things and people that I should remember because of time spent with or past experiences with. Please help me understand signs of mini strokes or anything else that may be going on.
