What To Do For The Abnormal Sound In The Ears?

i recently got a few drops of watered down soda in my ear - a day later i started hearing a loud dog whistle like sound in it. i dont have a fever. I did on two occasions clean out my ear with a q-tip, and yes I might have gone too deep. I have no pain, no fever, no swelling, no hearing loss, just this loud sound. My dr cant see me for 3 weeks. is there anything over the counter that I can try?
