What To Do For The Ear Which Is Not Been Able To Hear?

I think my daughters ear drum may have busted. She was in extreme pain... Tylenol did not work and there was a lot of drainage. Now she says she is having a hard time hearing from that ear. What should I do and do you think that's what happened?
