What To Do If A Piece Of Plastic Is Swallowed By Mistake?

Hello, I accidentally swallowed a little piece of plastic about 2 mm in width and 12 mm in length, it was from a Popsicle wrapper, and I feel a little pain which seems to be coming from the bottom of my throat, it's not exactly pain but it's very uncomfortable. Should I throw up or should I swallow water and just digest it? Also, I'm not 100% certain that it's actually in my throat.
