What To Expect After A Subdural Hematoma Surgery?

father in law had subdural hematoma surgery last saturday , but had 2 seizures and speech is garbled, can't use his right hand and thoughts come and go. where can I read something about what to expect after surgery or does it just depend on the patient and damage done.
