What Type Of Sedation Is Recommended For The Removal Of Cyst On Back?

Hi I have a quarter size cyst that was found by my physical therapist on the left side n back of my neck. It has been back there for years as just a small bump. When my pt found it ,it was a size of a dime. Now it s the size of a quarter and very sore to the touch. I m having it removed next week but I don t won t to feel any pain. What kind of sedation is recommended? Can I get a IV sedation? That way I don t hear or see what they are doing.
