When I Even Touch My Shoulder Bone It Hurts. My

When I even touch my shoulder bone it hurts. My chiropractor told me it was some "itus". And suggested I go see a doctor for a possible shot. Would you know what "itus" it would be?
It hurts to raise my arm or do anything. I think I aggravated something when I was helping family move.
