When I Missed My Periods I Went To My Gynaecologist

When I missed my periods I went to my gynaecologist who said I was pregnant and asked me to take hald sr 200daily without getting any blood test done. In my 7th week during U/s I found that the fetus had no heart beat. I had a missed abortion. Did the medicine cause any harm to my pregnancy?
