When I Took A Bite Of Food, Immediately The Bottom

When I took a bite of food, immediately the bottom left side of my tongue started having sharp needle like pain and then the left side of my bottom lip felt like I had a hair on it. I have since figured out it is a feeling of numbness that has remained. It feels like when I have had dental work done and the numbness from the novacaine. My tongue has since quit having the above reaction.
