When I Was A Teenager I Went To The Doctors

When I was a teenager I went to the doctors with a lump under my skin to be advised it was a lump of gristle and that I may find more. I am now 31 and I have well over a dozen of all different sizes all over my body. Should I be concerned I am constantly finding new ones? I now have another one in my ribs but this one is just under my breast. Should I go back to the doctors? Is this normal?
