When a child has severe itching behind the knees and in the fold of elbows what kind of condition is this and how can it be treated. THE DOCTOR SAID that she would grow out of it but now she is older she still has break outs in those locations. I used to add salt to her bath water and it would relieve the itching. But she would scratch it until the skin was raw, that is why I used salted water to dry the area.
