When Can I Expect My Period After Taking A Five Day Course Of Medication For It?

Hi. I got my last periods on November 21 and I did not get my periods on December and even till now I didn t get it. What to do?? I am taking a tablet suggested by my doctor she said take the tablet for five days twice a day and after that you may get your periods.
