When Can I Start Clomid After Implanon Removal?

I am 34 and will have implanon removed at the end of the week. I have only one ovary and would like to try for one more child. I have always had long cycles, so I used clomid to get pregnant with my last child (one round of 50 mg). I am wondering how soon I could start on clomid after I have the implanon removed and if I could take something like one round of birth control pills to induce a period to start the clomid?
