When Do Periods Begin After Taking Novelon?

I did not get my period for 4 months. I had taken meprate 10mg for 5 days... 2 tab each day but did not get periods after stopping the medicine for 10 days. I consulted my gynaecologist.... she further prescribed me with novelon (birth control pill ) for 21 days. I am still taking my medicine. Will novelon trigger my period?? I am in seek of some opinion. I did increase my weight. But i did start dieting to deal with my weight
