When Does The Follicle Rupture After An HCG Injection?

Hi I m on my ovulation study. Doctor gave my HCG injection on 15th day when my follicle was 19.1mm. Today is my 17th day but still my follicle is 20mm. What will be the reason? Is it possible to get my follicle reptured on 18th day. Because doctor asked me to wait for 1 more day only.
