When Is Sex Advisable After Implanon Insertion?

I have only just had my Implanon inserted yesterday by my GP. I am unsure as to how effective it will be as it was not inserted between the 1-5 day period of my cycle. It was actually the sixth day. So just to make sure It is effective, how long should you wait before having sex if your implanon was not inserted within this specified time frame?
