When My Doctor Prescribed Me With Clingen After Using It

When my doctor prescribed me with clingen after using it for one day the next day I got my periods so I had stopped using it till my periods get over but now that am done am confused that do I start from where I left or do I start from the beginning because the doctor said to not discontinue it for seven days but after using one I stopped so what do I do now
