When Should Birth Controls Pills Be Taken After Taking Emergency Contraceptives?

So I just had unprotected sex. And I'm on birth control but my period ended on Tuesday and I've been taking the pill since Tuesday morning.So I took four pills as an emergency contraceptive and am going to take four in another twelve hours. Afterwards do I continue to take my pill as I regularly would?
