Whenever I Sleep, Blood Accumulate In My Mouth That Cause

Whenever I sleep, blood accumulate in my mouth that cause a rancid oder, once I rinse my mouth I notice a few small clots that may merge with cold like looking mucus. The problem don't seem to go past my throat but my throat seem to be dry. Can anyone answer theses question
