While At Work My Left Leg Was Run Over By

While at work my left leg was run over by a car. I ended up being diagnosed with a fractured ankle and. Mortons neuroma on the bottom of my foot. I am now in an ankle cast and waiting for my fitted orthotics. My question is why am I still in so much pain if this happened in February of 2016. I have been told possible RSD, but I don't fit all the criteria. Could that be the only diagnosis or are there other chronic issues I could have?
