Why Am I Having On And Off Light Pink Discharge?

i had a hcg blood test done at 4 days late, it was neg. At 11 days late i started to discharge very light pink or orange sometimes, not enough really to warrant a liner. It stops for a day then starts again. Its been 9 days of this now. What could be causing this? Where is my period?
