Why Am I Not Able To Feel The String?

HI my friend told me that her IUD fell out and i got nervose so i checked mine now ive had it in for about a month now, and i havent had any pains or anything. But when i checked it i couldnt feel the string. Should i be worried and call my doctor or what should i do??
