Why Are The Breasts Acidic Tasting?

My doctor has no idea what this could be, plus it's embarrassing, but my husband complains that a very bitter/acidic taste is present on my breasts. This happens when I'm not pregnant, also when I am pregnant, nursing, not nursing, on birth control, and not on the pill. It's always there.
