Why Causes The Tip Of Penis To Turn White Along With Red Sore Skin?

The underside of the tip of my penis is turning white and the skin underneath is sore and reddish. I just finished taking augmentin for 10 days and thought I had contracted a male yeast infection. After using an over the counter female yeast infection product the itching went away but these new symptoms have occured. please help
