Why Do I Have Dried Blood In Both My Ears?

I was cleaning my left ear with a q-tip a couple of days ago. I accidently went too far in my ear and must have hit my ear drum because there was a little pain. This morning, my ears were itching and I used a q-tip to see if there was any wax. The first ear I checked was my left. When I removed the q-tip, there was dried blood so i decided to check my right ear. Again, there was dried blood as well.
