Why Do I Have Difficulty Swallowing After Removal Of Tonsils?

3 months ago I had my tonsils removed and my palate shaved to treat sleep apnea. Now I have difficulty swallowing. liquid also comes out of my nose. I seem to choke on food when swallowing, causing coughing fits. food will also be expelled from my nose when blowing it.
