Why Do My Hands, Feet, And Knees Sometimes Feel Red, Warm, And Swollen After Smoking Methamphetamine?

I recently decided to smoke Methamphetamine and I have a question about a side effect I ve noticed when using it. From time to time my hands will become very red and warm. They re not really swollen, but they feel swollen. Sometimes the feeling will also be in my feet and my knees. I ve pressed on the area and it s not sore to the touch, and there s also no indentation. I know the best solution is to stop smoking meth, and that s most likely what I m going to do, but my question is why does this happen, and have I permanently damaged my body.
