Why Do Objects Stick To The Skin?

I am having problems with objects sticking to my skin. I saw a show on tv where a man could do this, I tried it and I have the same problem. The objects are plastic, steel, and wood. When I place them on my chest and forehead they stick there until I remove them. What may cause this?
