Why Does My BV Keep Recurring Despite Multiple Treatments, And Could My Partner Be Re-infecting Me?

Hi, I believe I have gotten Bacterial Vaginosis again. I have been treated 3 times in the past 4 months for this, alongside Thrush in which I have also been treated 5 times for. In terms of my BV, it always seems to come back. I do have unprotected sex with my partner occasionally but mostly it is protected. What can I do to get rid of BV for good? And is there a reason my partner keeps giving me BV?
