Why Does My Cough Taste Like Chlorine? I’ve Had This

Why does my cough taste like chlorine? I’ve had this horrible cough close to 3 weeks now sometimes when I cough I smell and taste chlorine: I jokingly said to someone the other day maybe it’s walking pneumonia. Now I’m thinking maybe it really is!!!!
