Why Is Novolog And Levimer So Expensive While Other Countries

Why is Novolog and Levimer so expensive while other countries almost give it away. I am on Humana Medicare and see no end to drug prices going down. I also take Januvia which is also really expensive. I know from working in the medical profession myself that drug companies need so much to do research but they never seem to come up with answers to retired or low income people.
