Why Is It That We Can Send A Space Probe

Why is it that we can send a space probe out beyond Pluto that is able to send photos back to Earth ... what a feat! ... and yet we cannot develop a fecal occult test strip that can tell the difference between blood .... and a carrot!

This is my third annual physical where my Dr wants me to do that poop test, and I haven't. Why? The test strips react to perioxadase in food resulting in a false positive. And there is no complete list I can find anywhere that lists these foods. Had blueberry pancakes this morning, this afternoon I look up blueberries ... guess what, I have to stat all over again. And no aspirin? Hello?

No wonder so many people die of colon cancer, the test is arcane. NIH, throw some money at it! Look at the New Horizon Prob photos and be inspired!
Oh right, I forgot, it's all about the money in this country.
