Why Is My Bartholin's Cyst Back After Surgery?

my daughter just had surgery 12 days ago for a bartholis cyst. upon her post surgery check they dicoverd that it is back. The doctor does not know what it is. The fluid from the cyst was clear and gel like with brown specks. the new cyst is in the same area but they do not think it the gland. What could it be?
