Why Is My Big Toe Not Growing?

25 years old, 5'6" 135 lbs. my big toe wont grow. i didnt stub it or drop anything on. It's not discolored, theres no discharge. It's been two months and all my other toe nails grow but this one. It was sore about a month ago and i pulled sock jam out of it with nail clippers. I got in real far and it seperated the nail a little from the skin. And ththe nail bed is a little tougher and thicker than the normal nail beds.
