Why Is My Enlarged Bartholin Gland Becoming Small With A Brownish Discharge?

I am 51, I too have a condition. My enlarged bartholin gland is at 4 o'clock,. It was the size of a soft marble could be felt externally and not painfull. I had a watery cloudy discharge 24 hours a day. "panty liners or tampons" My doctor said it was part of aging. ??? One day I noticed a light brown discharge and the gland became smaller and hard about the size of a pea. The discharge almost stoped for two weeks. Now it is slightly larger than a pea and the discharge has returned. Normal aging hell!!!!
