Why Is My New Tattoo Developing A Spreading Rash After Switching From A&D Ointment To Aquaphor?

Hello I got a tattoo on Sunday and yesterday and today I’m noticing that it’s abrash throughout the tattoo, I’ve been using dial soap and was using A&D ointment but when I spoke with the artist who did my tattoo he told me to use aquaphor which I stopped using the A&D and switched to that but the rash seemed to get bigger?
