Why Is My Period Late?

My period is a day and a half late.. It's never late. I'm 99% sure I'm not pregnant and worse, my body feels like it's menstruating (cramps, pelvic pain [which is normal for me] gas, etc.) but nothing is coming out. Could something be causing blockage?? I did have a cold a few days ago but I highly doubt that stopped my period from coming.
