Why Is My Vagina Sore And Itchy?

Hi, My vagina is sore and itchy and I have noticed some white discharge coming out...when I wipe myself I have also noticed black specks...I haven't been using soap because it gets really irritated.....what should I do about the itching...it comes and goes...I just washed my vagina lightly with baby wash...it was extremely itchy now its fine what is goin on?
