Why Is The Inner Side Of My Nose Raw And Painful?

I have a nose issue. For a few weeks, the inner left side of nose has felt very raw. To the point facial movements cause pain. I have not cut the inside of my nose, nor do I have a pimple but it is very painful. Is this a dryness issue ( even though I am sniffing alot more than normal) or is it something else?
