Why My Left Lower Abdomen Is Smaller Than The Other Side?

Im on the pill ( Krimson 35 ). Had protected sex several times. Very sure that the condom didnt break. After 3 days, I had my period on time for 7 days. Didnt have sex after that. Im worried now because I noticed that my left lower abdomen, probably where the left ovary is looks bigger than the other side. Had a scan done and both ovaries are normal. And I heard even if I get pregnant while on the pill period can happen. Am I pregnant? Will the doctor know if I was while I did the scan, which was yesterday. Should I take a test? How much can I rely on a home pregnancy test?
