Why Was Novelon Suggested In The Following Condition?
I am 37 years old trying to conceive. All tests so far including hormonal assys, HSG, Laproscopy are fine and so are husband's test. I am hypothyroid and controlled with Eltroxin 100mcg
After a failed IUI, I am advised IVF. But the medicine Yasmin tablet OC was given to me for over 4 weeks has made my day 3 Estradio as 123! while earlier cycle and always it was WNL. Even my TSH has gone up from 0.5 to 5.0!! My IVF is cancelled and I am advised to take now Novelon! Im confused..everything (hormones) seemed to be okay orior to taking OC..
